1. Overview
Dromedary ("we", "our", or "us") provides DonkeyFS, a client-side macOS virtual filesystem application. We believe your private data belongs exclusively to you. DonkeyFS operates on a local-first, zero-knowledge architecture.
2. Information We Access & How It Is Used
When you connect DonkeyFS to Google Drive via OAuth:
- Google Account Information: We access your account email address and basic profile display name solely to identify the active connected drive in the local application interface.
- Google Drive Files & Storage Quota: We access your Google Drive files and storage metrics strictly to provide synchronization, virtual file tree enumeration, and file transfer services directly between your local device and Google Drive.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share your Google user data, credentials, or file contents to any third-party or Dromedary servers. All OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored exclusively on your local device in the secure macOS Keychain.
3. Google API Limited Use Disclosure
DonkeyFS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Cryptomator Client-Side Encryption
When client-side encryption is enabled, file names, directory hierarchies, and file payloads are encrypted using standard AES-256 before leaving your computer. Your master passphrase is never transmitted over the network and remains under your exclusive control.
